In Pietralunga truffles dedicated to research

A truly important news of solidarity that comes from Pietralunga, an Umbrian town in which were found two truffles whose weight exceeds two pounds. A tasty event that the entrepreneur Giuliano Martinelli has decided to use for a very noble purpose, that is to donate the proceeds to research.

Specifically, these two diamonds of the earth will be the protagonists of ‘A truffle for research’, a dinner in the square in Pietralunga, scheduled for Tuesday, July 9 from 19:00. An event dedicated to truffle dishes and not only seasoned with lots of music. The proceeds of the evening will be donated to research in favor of Airc.

“It all stems from a brilliant idea of my friend Angelo of the company Mirco Vivai – says Martinelli – who found in his truffle shops the record one kilo and 200 grams to which he added another always maxi of a kilo and 100 grams extracted by Giacomo Becchetti thanks to the unmatched smell of his dog Tessa”. Those two truffles will be part of the dinner menu with the participation of Daniele Violoni of ‘The Lord of Truffle’. “All the proceeds of the evening – concluded Martinelli – will be donated to Airc for research, a concrete way to strengthen hope and contribute to a noble cause”.
